How does it work?
1. Analysis & Evaluation of Your Current Financial Status
- Identify goals, strengths, and weaknesses
- Risk management and insurance

2. Recommendations & Options
Based on the analysis of your current and future needs, in coordination with legal, tax, investment, insurance and estate planning experts, will make recommendations and show you your options to design a plan to move toward your goals.
3. Implementation
Once we have agreed on the design of your financial plan, our team will assist you with each step in the implementation.
4. Monitor Progress
Quarterly and annual reviews in person or over the telephone will keep you informed on the progress of your plan. This also gives us the opportunity to discuss recommended changes to your financial plan as your life and goals shift.
5. Fiduciary Standard
As a fee-based financial advisor, we act as your fiduciary under the oversight of the SEC (Securities Exchange Commission). This means we are obligated always to put your interests first. Dekker Financials’ fiduciary relationship with our clients is built on honesty, trust, and good faith.

- There are many financial planners and advisors out there, but only a CFP® professional has met the CFP Board’s high professional qualifications and abides by their Codes of Ethics and Standards.
- To a CFP® professional, the client’s interests come first. At all times when providing financial advice to a client, a CFP® professional is committed to acting as a Fiduciary.
- A CFP® professional starts their journey with education. In addition to requiring a bachelor’s degree, a CFP® professional, must also complete a university-level coursework program covering various areas of personal financial planning, including Professional Conduct, Risk Management and Insurance Planning, Investment Planning, Tax Planning, and many others. In addition, continuing education is required.
- CFP® professional must have a minimum of 2 years of real-world financial planning experience before becoming a CFP® professional.
- All CFP® professionals must pass the CFP® Exam, a rigorous test of financial planning skills in realistic situations.
